We are excited to welcome Dr. Francesca de Falco, who has joined our team as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

Francesca brings over a decade of experience in microplastics research, with a focus on microfibres released from textiles, biodegradable plastics, and the use of Py-GC-MS to characterize and trace plastics in the environment.

In our project, she will investigate the leaching of additives from abraded plastics and analyze microplastics and additives in environmental samples.
